I went to feed Carter this morning at 6:00 am and Dakota, being the loyal dog she is always gets up with me and comes to lay at my feet while Carter nurses. When I finished up last night, she lagged and didn't come back to bed with me, and when I woke up this morning, this is what I found....
How Adorable is THIS! She laid by his crib until I came and woke them both up this morning.

I knew that she would be "chief protector"! I don't think you need to worry about anyone taking Carter while Dakota is "on duty"!
She spent all last night in there too... Bit she doesn't really want him near her yet. I tried to get a pic of the two of them but she wasn't sure about it. I can't wait till he can chase her around the house. hehe
This is too cute! She must have figured out she has a new friend in the making!
