ISR - Week 6 - Final Week!!

With week-6 they get to come dressed for all seasons!

First up, PJs & a night time (double stuffed) cloth diaper!

Summer clothes (Shorts, t-shirt, cloth diaper & sandals!)

Winter clothes (Jeans, t-shirt, sweatshirt, socks, tennis shoes, cloth diaper)

And thats it!  He now loves the water!  He loves to play on Gamma's sundeck in her pool.  He's My little water bug!

ISR week-5

Awesome float!  Plus Angelee only has to tell him to come get her now and he flips to his swim on his own!  

His 1st attempt of "jumping" off the step by himself.  Notice, he walks and sinks :)

With the last week coming up, it's time to try something new!

He's officially a big boy!

In one day, my little boy has now grown into a big boy!  I'm so sad, but happy at the same time.  I went in to get him from his nap and found him doing this.. of course, I made him do it once more for the camera.  

We've now opened the little gate to his bed and so he can crawl in and out on his own.  He was a VERY good boy his first night with the door open.  He even stayed in his crib until I came in and got him in the morning.  All his animals were on the floor, and when I went in he pointed and said "notty".  How precious!

Down to lunch, there was another 1st.  I've been trying to teach him how to use a spoon on his own, he's not very good at it, but today I gave him his yoghurt and he was able to eat it himself.  Sure he was covered in yoghurt by the end of lunch, but he ate it all on his own!

ISR Week-4

Week-4 is the week he stopped crying and really started to enjoy going to his lessons!  He is such a big boy!

We went decided to go to the AZ Science Center to have a nice cool weekend.  We learned lots of things!  CK even got to experience a tornado!

Infant Swimming Resource - Week 1

This week Carter starts his ISR lessons!  I'm sure you're wondering what ISR is, well, instead of me telling you, I can show you over the next 6-weeks!  As Carter has been enrolled and today was the 1st day I could video him.  Sure there will be a little crying, and a lot of tears, swimming scared me at first too!  But I know I'll have a little water bug on my hands after this is all said and done!  Carters instructor is Angelee, she is amazing, and we love her!

I know what all you Kansas People will say, he can be a little Kansas too, but today, today, he's an Iowa Boy!

Bounce Jungle Rocks!!

We decided to try out Bounce Jungle with our Playdate Group. I wasn't sure CK was going to enjoy this one, but after a short warm up with me in a bounce house, he was ALL over the place!

Mommy forgot as she was trying to do too many things that you can't hold the camera sideways.. so tilt your head :) This is CK climbing the steep ladder to the slide! What a big boy! He did half of it himself, then he wanted help.

Later in the evening we went to Grandma & Grandpa's where he put on Uncle Jeff's shoe. Which is his new favorite thing to do. The boy loves everyones shoes! Except when they are puuuie!!
