Our Little Talker...

Carter LOVES to talk.  He is especially happy in the mornings or when he's on his changing table.  He does get a little camera shy sometimes.  Of course, having the hiccups makes talking much harder, but super funny!!

Grandpa & Grandma took me Golfing!

Ok, well they really didn't take me golfing, but I did get my 1st golf cart ride!  Grandpa drove and Grandma held on to me.  We had loads of fun and I can't wait to do it when I'm older!

I think she's trying to teach me how to sit up on my own, and I'm not really sure if I'm fond of the idea... but I thought I'd give it a try....

Look, as soon as Mommy put me in, I drooled all over myself!

Then she made silly faces trying to get me to smile, I gave in...

But then reality started to sink in...

and I realized "I DONT LIKE THIS THING!"

PaPa came for a visit!

PaPa came for a visit, really he just came to play golf, but he came a day early to see me!  I was so happy!  We even matched!  So we had to get a photo in our ISU stuff!  We all went for a walk, Daddy, Mommy, Papa, me, and Dakota too.  Daddy thought it would be nice to put me in the front carrier.  It's the first time I've really been in it, obviously, I loved it!

Dear Mommy & Daddy, 

I just finished another bottle so my tummy is full!! Grandpa is feeling better, but he doesn't want to take a change on making me sick, so he looks funny!  I hope you have good luck tonight... I think I might want to be a doctor!

Good Morning, Mommy & Daddy!!!

Just wanted to know that I've had breakfast and a bath and now I'm swinging!!  It will be time for a little nap in a while... just wanted to see how you're doing (remember my college fund!!!) I squired Grandma again while I was taking a bath so she is going to have to be more careful!!!

Grandpa isn't feeling well, so he wears his creepy mask when I'm around.  But, just so you know, this picture was after I pooped all over Grandpa's shirt and pants (and he wasn't even mad!!!)  Grandma had to take all my clothes off and then they decided to give me another bath... that's when I peed on Grandma... they laughed and laughed!!!  Anyway, I am a sweet smelling baby now, all clean and in my pj's!

I miss you, but Grandma and Grandpa are entertaining me... I had two good naps this afternoon and now Grandpa is playing the "say Grandpa" game and playing Elmo songs with me!!!  Hope you're having fun in Las Vegas and getting my education funded.

This was a big day for me, Mommy thought it would be funny if we went over to Grandpa & Grandma's dressed in my Iowa State gear.  I told her no one would want to hold me, but I was wrong!  They seemed to love me more!  I think it was my ISU outfit!

It's no wonder Carter doesn't fit into any of his 3-month clothing with feet!

He's in the 90% for height and weight!

Sure, he's almost 2 months old now, but here are his one month old photos.  He was only asleep for a bit and then he woke up & was very unhappy that mommy was taking MORE photos of him!  But he was a super great model!  Cute as always!!
